Laminate
For
decades, the plastic laminate countertop has reigned as king of kitchen
surfaces.
Practically
speaking, the design possibilities are nearly infinite. There are
currently thousands of color choices available from numerous manufacturers.
Laminate also remains to be the most economical solution for countertops.
As interior-design fashions change with the years, the ability to exchange your
kitchen and bath surfaces affordably is a real value.

Acrylic
Solid Surfacing
In
today's kitchen and bath, acrylic surfacing has retained much of its popularity and exciting new color choices become
available with every
season. In response to the demand, the products are becoming a greater
value as new manufacturers enter the market and costs drop. The benefits
of such a surface are widely known. The most rejoiced are the inconspicuous
seams, continuously mounted sinks, and the “renew-ability” of the surface
(many surface scratches can be removed easily).
Even more severe damage can
often be repaired without replacing the entire top. In addition to being a
safe, tough, and beautiful surface, the design possibility of acrylic is
truly limited only by your imagination. This design flexibility exceeds
even that of plastic laminate or stone. Combine all these benefits with at
least a 10-year manufacturer’s warranty, this surface is a value. This
could just be the last countertop you will ever buy.

Concrete
A very special product indeed. We
all know that concrete holds up our bridges and
buildings,
lines our swimming pools, and provides a firm, weather resistant footing for us to walk upon. But
did you know that concrete can do all of this while being beautiful at the same
time? Concrete continues to gain momentum among designers as a practical
solution for interior surfacing. Bluegrass Laminating, Inc. can work with
you and your client to achieve practically any look that you can dream up.
While we have developed a system to introduce consistency to our color palette,
every concrete countertop is a one-of-a-kind product that may be tweaked any way
you like. Once the color and style has been selected, the ordering process is
very much the same as any other solid surface-type product: Install the
new cabinets, make a jobsite template for fabrication, and then installation.
Bluegrass Laminating, Inc. will fabricate your concrete countertop in our plant,
and then deliver it to your jobsite. This is not a sidewalk on cabinets,
but a well engineered and meticulously constructed custom surface creation.
Trying to find the right surface for your client's request for an Art Deco
master bath? What about a subtle kitchen countertop that doesn't make a
lot of noise for a post-modern project? For virtually any design need or style,
a concrete countertop can be personalized and adapted to support your vision.
Richlite®
® Kitchen
designers and homeowners are always looking for unique and fun
design solutions, particularly in surfacing. Richlite® is here to help! The
countertop is the main component for which the home chef physically and visually
interacts with their kitchen. We want our tops to work with us, and look
and feel good doing it! Made from paper and phenolic resins,
Richlite® falls under a surfacing product category called 'paper composite'.
It
is manufactured using natural wood pulp with intense pressure and heat.
The result is a super dense and durable countertop surface that has the "soft"
look to it that only natural wood can provide. How durable is it?
This is the same product (more or less) that skate park ramps and boats are
made of. In fact, you will likely find Richlite® installed in commercial
kitchens working hard next to their stainless steel. Bluegrass Laminating, Inc. is
thrilled to be the first and only fabricator in Kentuckiana to offer Richlite® for the home.
Engineered Stone
 While
the term "engineered" may sound a bit sterile, there is no doubting that the
color selections of today's quartz countertops are stunningly beautiful.
Real, natural quartz is combined by the manufacturer with strong resins and
beautiful pigments creating a nearly perfect countertop surface. While
preserving most of the qualities we love with quarried
stone, many of natural
stone's faults have been left in the ground and effectively
"engineered out". Be it the consistent color quality or the less porous
and stain resistant finish, quartz holds the upper hand. Bluegrass
Laminating, Inc. has partnered with the area's finest quartz fabricators so that
you can be sure that the quality of your new countertop is first rate.
Karran Under-mount Sinks
FINALLY a reliable and
attractive solution for under-mounting a sink to your
high pre ssure laminate countertop! Unlike past offers from other
suppliers, this one comes backed with a serious warranty from one of the top
sink manufactures in the country. Available in several sizes and bowl
configurations, designers love being able to offer this sleek look at a price
point that will surely grab some attention.
Butcher Block
Designers and homeowners
alike love the warmth and beauty that a real wood surface brings to the kitchen.
Today,
there has never been available such a breadth of colors, species, or sizes.
At Bluegrass Laminating, we are very proud to offer you the strength and
tradition of the Wood Welded® brand that we can customize for your needs.
